Crashing a Family Reunion

Today we crashed the family reunion for Jeremy's best friend (so we're basically family anyways) and the kids had a blast playing with all the kids and picking berries. We came home with baskets full of raspberries and new coloring books for the kids.

The kids always love when "Mr. Devin" comes to visit because he normally treats us to some of his firehouse cooking -- yum! Not to mention that he's great with the kids. This time they also got to meet his sister "Miss Darcie" at the reunion. I think Sam would've gone home with Darcie if she could have -- Darcie's a dancer & now teaches, so Sam was enthralled. Too bad she lives in Pittsburgh, so Sam can't take lessons from her.

Anyhow, Sam was very brave and finally tried the homemade slip-n-slide with some help from Miss Darcie. (Very impressive for a girl who will barely get in the sprinkler most days). Here's the video (& then a few more pics from the day...)
