Happy New Year! After a couple busy weeks, we were ready for some R&R, so we decided to just stay home for New Year's this year. So we pulled out the New Year's hats from our party a
few years ago & fired up the fondue pot Mommy & Daddy got from Santa. Unfortunately, we didn't have everything we needed to make the fancy fondue mix that Santa brought, so we had to do a basic recipe instead. It didn't come anywhere close to restaurant fondue, but it was pretty good & the kids had a BLAST (Sammie's words).
I think Sammie ate more than anyone. She really had a ball & definitely has a sweet tooth (
hmm....wonder where that came from?). By the end nearly her entire chin & lots of her shirt were covered in chocolate.
Jacob had fun too, but he didn't have any desire to actually eat anything he dipped. He preferred plain brownies. As he put it: "They're
licious Mommy."
I think this is my best shot of the night.
Hehehehe....Daddy liked the goodies too. :)
