Merry Christmas!

Christmas was so fun this year. Sammie was SO into it & Jacob definitely understood the concept. It's just so much fun to see the excitement in their little eyes over all the lights & paper & presents. And it warmed my heart to watch Sam being as excited to give gifts to others as she was to open her own. So sweet!

She was also very understanding about having to wait for Jacob to wake up this morning -- she was up before 6 & he didn't get up until after 7. And even then, he was ready for a lazy morning of watching Playhouse Disney. We did eventually convince them to come downstairs.

We had a mega-opening session this morning. Jacob actually pooped out about halfway through. "I'm all done with presents," he said & then headed over to watch a movie. He eventually came back around, but it was just too cute to watch him decide he was done.

When we finally had the mountain of presents open, Daddy made us some waffles & as a special treat, we had ice cream on top. Yum! Now we're getting ready to get cleaned up & head over to Nana & Peeper's to celebrate. Fun fun fun!
