Yep, today was the big day. I turned 30. Though it's not bothering me (that much). I did have a great time hearing people honk all day as I worked at home. Yes, that's right, I got my first official lawn decorating from Jeremy's family. And apparently I was so tired last night that I didn't hear them come to set it up.

And then while I was working, the kids were busy at Gramma's house preparing for my butterfly party. They decorated the dining room with lots of 30s -- 30 cards hung in the shape of the number 30 on the wall, 3 butterfly decorations with 30 stickers each -- you get the picture. Sam was also very proud to show me that she can now count to 30 (and beyond) without any trouble.

We had a great time enjoying my butterfly cake--red velvet, my favorite (as Sam kept telling me -- it's red inside Mama!) and opening presents with my parents & Jeremy's too. A very nice quiet day. And tomorrow I get to pick up my new minivan! (man, I AM getting old...)
