Memorial Day is a big holiday for our family -- we love our military (especially those we're related to) and we also have lots and lots of birthdays around this time of year, so it's an easy way to celebrate for everyone. And this year was a big one, since Jeremy's brother turns 30 tomorrow.
Anyhow, it all starts with our town's annual Memorial Day parade & ceremony (with a pit-stop at the church bake sale, of course). And then we walk down to my brother-in-laws for a cookout, potluck, chatting, and playing games. Definitely a nice way to spend the day.
